Life can be full of chaos. For many, these past few years have been an up-hill battle physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. A sound bath is a holistic, alternative approach that aids you back into peace and balance during turbulent times.
Sound baths are a beautiful and unique type of meditation. As you rest on the floor in a comfortable position, the vibrations "bathe" you in healing frequencies. When your body absorbs the vibrations from the instruments, the parasympathetic nervous system responds and allows your body to feel safe and relaxed. When deep, rich tones are played, your brain responds by slowing down to a sleep induced brainwave length, theta and data. These brainwave lengths are associated with deep relaxation and meditation, trance, and emotional processing.
With intention, sound baths are great for your spiritual healing journey. The sounds and frequencies help focus on your intention by quieting the mind chatter, aka monkey brain. As your body and mind start to relax, emotions or situations may come to the surface. These are just signs from your body and higher self that you are ready to heal and release these emotions.
For your own comfort feel free to bring your own personal yoga mat as this is done traditionally on the floor. Chairs are available if that is your preference. Blanks and pillows are highly recommended. Crystals, pictures, amulets can be used during meditation.
About Kirsten
Kirsten started her spiritual path at a young age. Trying to bring clarity to experiences she could not explain, Kirsten was determined to grow her intuitive mediumship abilities. Also, with a deep need to help others she delved into energy healing modalities such as reiki, IET, and sound healing. Focusing on her musical passion, Kirsten studied at the Tibetan Singing Bowl School in Encinitas, CA and trained with Gong Master Don Conreau. To further deepen her connection with Spirit she follows a shamanic path. Throughout Kirsten's spiritual journey, she has grown a very strong bong with her spiritual team. Her spirit guides continue to aid and encourage her to fully embrace her shamanic and healing gifts.
