Sound baths are a beautiful and unique type of meditation. As you rest on the floor in a comfortable position, the vibrations "bathe" you in healing frequencies. Your body absorbs the vibrations from the instruments, the parasympathetic nervous system responds and allows your body to feel safe and relaxed. When deep, rich tones are played, your brain responds by slowing down to a sleep induced brainwave length, theta and delta. These brainwave lengths are associated with deep relaxation and meditation, trance and emotional processing.
